1/2gallonapple cider
1tsp.orange extract
1vanilla bean
3small cinnamon sticks
12cloves
3cardamom seeds
5whole allspice berries
apple slicesfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients (except apple slices) in a medium pot set over medium heat. Heat until simmering. Stir and lower heat. Continue cooking over low heat for at least 30 minutes, preferably an hour.
