This 3-ingredient Brown Sugar Cinnamon Simple Syrup is a quick condiment to stash in your fridge this fall, to give coffees and cocktails a sweet fall twist.
Um, hello fall? I’m not sure where summer went or where time goes anymore. I keep thinking that life will settle down this month, but that’s yet to happen. Send good vibes my way. I need life to simmer down, to get back into a routine, and for surprises to stopping popping up for a bit.
We’re a couple of weeks into the school year now. My kids are back in school 5 DAYS A WEEK!!! I’m thrilled and anxious at the same time. But mostly thrilled. And the kids are so happy. We had a 4 day weekend this past weekend and on Saturday night, as I was putting her to bed, she asked if she could go back to school the next day. She told me how much she loved school and couldn’t wait to go back. I miss that.
We’re also a couple of weeks into soccer practice and gearing up to start religious ed for the kiddos, so the weeks are passing in a blur. But I’m so happy they’re FINALLY able to get some normal!
So between school starting and the temperature finally starting to cool, I’m looking forward to all things fall. I’m not a huge pumpkin person, but I love the warm, cozy scent of cinnamon, the sweet taste of apples, and the start of all things comfort food.
I’ll be celebrating Fall Flavors next week but wanted to start you off with a teaser – this Brown Sugar Cinnamon Simple Syrup. It doesn’t take long to make but is a great addition for fall beverages.

Oh that’s amazing – I’m so glad you liked the cocktail and the syrup! Adding it to oatmeal is a fantastic idea!
It is great to have this ready as it can be used from pancakes to dessert. Amazing!
